- タッピンねじの改良品であり、ねじ部の断面が、オニギリ形状（三角形）になっている。作業効率を上げるなどの目的でよく利用される。
- 肌焼処理あり、表面硬化処理による硬質が要求される。ねじ込む抵抗力を低減させるために、ワックスを加える。
- メッキ工程後375°F～450°Fの炉の中で最低4時間加熱処理する。
